Design Development

Design is where a project’s reliability, cost, and buildability are decided. At this stage we translate requirements into clear engineering intent: practical geometry, realistic tolerances, and documentation that lets production move without guesswork. Strong design reduces risk, shortens timelines, and keeps the quality–cost balance under control.

FD2P provides three core services within Design Development: Structural & mechanical design, FEM/BEAM analysis, and animation & rendering.

Structural & Mechanical Design

Competent design is how you get a competitive product. Good decisions at this stage set the weight, cost, and manufacturability — and ultimately the lifecycle performance. With a correct design approach, the project price stays in a sensible balance with quality and safety.

  • Concept and detailed design for steel, aluminum, and composite structures.
  • Practical buildability: clear tolerances, weld/access planning, and standard sections where it makes sense.
  • Tools we use: SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

FEM & BEAM Analysis

Sound calculations are the foundation of safety and service life. Proper FEM and sectional (BEAM) analysis confirm strength, stiffness, stability, and fatigue so the structure performs its job throughout its intended life — without unexpected failures. Safety comes first.

  • Static, modal, buckling, and fatigue checks; code- or client‑driven criteria.
  • Member sizing and verification for beams/frames; connection logic aligned with fabrication.
  • Tools we use: SolidWorks, STAAD.Pro, ColBeam, Mathcad.

Animation & Rendering

Clear visuals accelerate decisions. Animations and photorealistic renders help align teams on assembly steps and safety notes, and they make design intent obvious for client managers and stakeholders. This is useful for work instructions, internal reviews, and presentations.

  • Assembly and operation animations for toolbox talks and training.
  • Marketing‑grade stills for proposals and stakeholder briefings.
  • Integration of engineering models or re‑modeling from scratch.
